1. Appointment Booking & Payments

  • A 50% non-refundable retainer fee is required to secure all appointments.

  • Appointments must be booked exclusively online. A valid card on file is required before scheduling.

  • The card on file may be used to complete remaining balances (including cash-payment appointments).

  • Accepted payment methods: Cash, Credit/Debit Card, Zelle, Cash App, and Apple Pay.

2. New Client Requirements

  • All first-time clients must book under the “New Client” category and complete the required consultation form before their appointment.

  • Returning clients booking a new service they have never received must also complete a consultation form.

  • This information ensures safe, accurate, and customized treatment.

3. Cancellation, Rescheduling & No-Show Policy

24+ Hours Notice

  • Cancellations or reschedules made at least 24 hours before the appointment will have the retainer fee transferred to the next booking.

Late Cancellations (Under 24 Hours)

  • The retainer is forfeited.

  • A new 50% retainer fee will be required to rebook.

No-Shows

  • No-shows will result in:

    • 100% charge of the service amount,

    • forfeiture of retainer,

    • permanent removal from the booking system.

Clear communication ensures fairness for all clients and helps maintain a smooth schedule.

4. Late Arrivals

  • Clients may arrive up to 15 minutes late with notice.

  • Arrivals beyond 15 minutes will result in:

    • The appointment being rescheduled, and

    • A 50% rescheduling fee based on the service cost.

This prevents overlapping into other clients’ scheduled time.

5. Service Expectations & Studio Policies

  • By booking, placing a card on file, and paying a retainer fee, clients agree to all studio policies and procedures.

  • Refunds are not provided for retainer fees or services rendered under any circumstance.

  • Clients must disclose accurate medical conditions, allergies, sensitivities, and recent procedures.

  • The studio reserves the right to refuse service for policy violations, hygiene concerns, or safety reasons.

6. Safety, Hygiene & Consent

  • Clients must arrive clean and prepared according to service guidelines.

  • Intimate services require proper hygiene; failure to meet standards may result in refusal of service and forfeiture of retainer.

  • Any signs of contagious conditions (rash, open wounds, active infection, etc.) will result in service denial for safety.

  • By receiving services, clients acknowledge and accept all service risks and consent to treatment.

7. Pricing, Upgrades & Policy Updates

  • Pricing is subject to change without notice.

  • New services, upgrades, and program expansions may be added throughout the year.

  • J. Lanique Glam Studio reserves the right to update or modify policies at any time. Updated policies take effect once published.

8. Professional Conduct

  • Disrespect, inappropriate behavior, or harassment toward the service provider will result in immediate refusal of service and permanent banning.

  • Recording during services is not permitted without consent.

9. Business Integrity, Payment Security & Client Responsibility

To maintain fairness, accuracy, and the financial integrity of the studio:

  • Attempted chargebacks or payment disputes for completed services may result in:

    • Permanent loss of booking privileges

    • Submission of documentation (forms, consent, photos, timestamps, etc.) to support the service provided

    • Possible legal follow-up if fraudulent activity is detected

  • All appointment communication must be handled through official booking channels (Acuity or Square), not personal messages or social media DMs.

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring their contact information, card information, and booking details are accurate at all times.

  • Any violation of studio policies may result in scheduling limitations or denial of future services.

Wax Passes Terms & Conditions

1. General Information

By purchasing a Wax Pass or Wax Subscription from J. Lanique Glam Studio, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies are designed to ensure a smooth and professional experience for all clients.

2. Wax Pass Terms & Conditions

• Wax Passes are available in 3, 6, or 9-session packages and must be used within the validity period:

3-session pass – Expires 4 months from the purchase date.

6-session pass – Expires 8 months from the purchase date.

9-session pass – Expires 12 months from the purchase date.

• Wax Passes must be used by the original purchaser and cannot be transferred or shared.

• Clients must schedule appointments in advance and use the unique code provided upon purchase when booking.

• Missed appointments without 24-hour notice will result in a session deduction from your pass.

3. Wax Subscription Terms & Conditions

• Subscription plans are billed monthly and include a set number of waxing services per billing cycle.

• Subscriptions cannot be paused, canceled, or refunded within an active billing cycle. Any unused services will not roll over to the next month.

• Clients must schedule their appointments in advance. Failure to cancel within 24 hours will result in the loss of that session.

• Subscriptions are auto-renewed each month unless canceled at least 7 days before the next billing date.

4. Payment & Refund Policy

All Wax Passes and Subscription purchases are FINAL SALE and NON-REFUNDABLE.

• J. Lanique Glam Studio does not offer refunds, exchanges, or transfers for unused or partially used Wax Passes or Subscriptions.

• In the event of studio closure or unforeseen circumstances, the client may be offered store credit at the studio’s discretion.

5. Appointment & Cancellation Policy

• A 24-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

• Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may be required to reschedule, and the session may be forfeited.

• No-shows or last-minute cancellations will result in the loss of one session from the pass or subscription.

6. Health & Safety

• Clients must follow all pre-waxing and post-waxing care instructions provided by J. Lanique Glam Studio.

• If you have any medical conditions, skin sensitivities, or allergies, please inform your esthetician before the service.

• J. Lanique Glam Studio reserves the right to refuse service if waxing is deemed unsafe for the client due to medical concerns.

7. Policy Updates

J. Lanique Glam Studio reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes to the policies.

Prepaid Memberships Can Be Transferred Once Per Year (Great as a gift!)

1. Membership Enrollment & Billing

• Memberships are auto-billed monthly on the same day each month.

• Prepaid memberships are paid in full upfront and are valid for 12 months.

• Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable, except for the one-time transfer option for yearly prepaid plans.

2. Membership Usage

• Membership services must be used within the billing cycle and do not roll over.

• Unused services expire at the end of each month and cannot be banked for future use.

• Clients can book anytime within the month, but last-minute appointments are subject to availability.

3. Cancellation & Freezing Policy

• Monthly memberships require a 2-month minimum commitment before cancellation.

• To cancel, clients must provide a 14-day notice before the next billing cycle.

• Memberships may be frozen once per year for up to 1 month, with a $20 freeze fee.

• Prepaid memberships cannot be refunded but can be paused for emergencies (up to 2 months).

4. Discounts & Perks

• Membership discounts do not apply to other promotions or bundled services.

• Prepaid members receive one free month when paying for the full year upfront.

• Retail discounts apply only to in-studio product purchases and cannot be combined with other sales.

5. No-Shows & Rescheduling

• A 24-hour notice is required to reschedule an appointment.

No-shows or cancellations under 24 hours will forfeit that month’s session.

• Excessive rescheduling may result in membership termination.

6. Membership Termination

• J. Lanique Glam Studio reserves the right to terminate a membership if a client repeatedly violates cancellation policies or is disruptive to the business.

• If terminated, the client will be notified and forfeit any remaining prepaid services.
